In my opinion their efforts in CSR are genuine, because not only was one of the first Spanish companies adopting social and environmental responsibility into their strategy but also because as they say in their annual report Inditex maintains a continuous dialogue with its stakeholders in order to identify the issues that most interest or concern them (INDITEX, 2012).It is difficult to improve the companys CSR performance. They were developing a CSR strategy for a long time they have tools and resources to manage the different CSR issues that affect them, in a positive or negative way, and a very proactive way approaching CSR. These are the main reasons because I think that Inditex is a leader and should be an example to others companies within the industry.
